Back Story:

Kordula grew up in a rather rich of Scientists family until she was 12 years old. In School she got to know Marc and Adrian, who were there already bitter rivals. When they were kids, she didn't care much for them both and even ignored them. She became older and she started a career as a scientist in the Devon Corporation-Building of her parents, when she was 15 years old. At the age of 16, her father gave her an Eevee as a birthday present and both a Water Stone and a Fire Stone, which eventually lead her to the decision to join Team Aqua, when her Eevee evolved into a Vaporeon one day. Some months later, she met Adrian and they encountered Jirachi, the Wishmaker Pokemon. Both wrote a wish on the notes and departed after saying goodbye to each other. Kordula then began to develop a crush on Adrian, not known he's the leader of Team Aqua. She remembered, that her old friend Jordis owned an Eevee as well, so she left the Fire Stone at the doorstep to her house with the note: "From an old friend of yours, Jordis. Your Eevee's gonna like it for sure." Since then, Jordis and Kordula didn't see each other anymore, just to find out they joined both Team Aqua for Kordula and Team Magma for Jordis. They were now bitter rivals and enemies, just like Adrian and Marc were. On a trip to Slateport City for a contest with Bubble, Kordula was caught by several Team Magma members and Marc tried to convince her to join them. Of course, having a crush on her leader, she declined and was held captured at Mt. Pyre as a punishment for her "disobidience" and for Adrian to put him under pressure. Of course, Adrian snatched his Sharpedo and went off to rescue her, as he cared deeply for her and all the other members of his team. After a heated fight between the old enemies, Adrian managed to win simply to having a Type-Advantage, he saved Kordula, confessing his love for her, while handing her the Mega-Hairpin and a blue, beautiful stone, which turned out to be a Vaporeontite. She looked at her leader and hugged him, vowing eternal loyalty to him. He declined her to vow her loyalty to him and said: "I'm fine as long as you're around, Kordi. Don't vow your loyalty to me, if you're gonna stay with me. We will expand the ocean together and reawaken Kyogre." She blinked in surprise. "Kyogre? The ancient Pokemon?" she asked, then smiled. "Alright. We will stomp Team Magma into the ground, with all the might Team Aqua has to offer!" she cheered happily, not aware, that their plan could cause the end of the world some years later...
